Friends of the Region Legacy Initiative
American Baptist Churches of Ohio (ABC Ohio) assist local and regional congregations. In an effort to provide long term financial stability, the Friends of the Region Legacy Initiative has established the Rise Up and Build Fund to support key ministry initiatives. These include congregational development consulting, coaching, training, pastor and famiily care, crisis counseling to congregations and pastors, promoting the congregations shared mission and more. Your financial commitment is important to the support of these ministries and more. In addition to cash gifts, there are other ways to contribuite including wills (bequests), gifts of stock, life insurance, real estate and other property along with charitable trusts and annuities. Mohican Baptist Association Fall Rally
The Mohican Baptist Association Fall Rally was held October 4, 2015 hosted by the First Baptist Church of Fredericktown.
American Baptist Missionaries Vital and Ketley Pierre were the keynote speakers. They shared about their work in Nicaragua and their upcoming move to the Dominican Republic.
It is wonderful to hear the work of our Associations and see how God is using His people to reach the world for Christ!
Rev. Jennifer Easley Passes

Rev. Jennifer Easley, a former ABC/Ohio minister who served on staff at the First Baptist Church of Middletown passed away on July 9, 2015. Rev. Easley had a passon for the earth and physical science. She taught and had a love for protecting the environment. She also often hosted foreign exhange students in her home. We lift up Rev. Easley and her family during this time and praise God for her service!
