Break the Chains Project Year Two Completed
The WinGS (Women's Ministry) at Sawmill Baptist Church in Powell, Ohio (David W. Nuhfer, Pastor – Bob Cassady, ABC-Ohio Minister of Congregational Development)
has completed their project for the 2nd year of the “Break the Chains” mission project through AB Women. The group obtained a large water jug from the local Culligan Water dealer and the challenge for the congregation was to "BRING YOUR CHANGE TO BREAK THE CHAINS." Between the funds in the water jug and other donations that were made, a total of $1,100.00 will be donated to BTC.
The project was fun with the water jug encouraging people to bring their change. The children of the church especially had fun dropping their change in and watching it grow. The congregation did a great job contributing to this mission project!!
Our churches are a vital part in helping to stop this evil crime that has spread throughout our world. This project opened eyes to the facts of human trafficking and the need to step up and take action and pray ........ pray .......... pray!!
